Primary 6 had a fantastic time on their skiing trip. Unfortunately we didn't make it to Glenshee this year, however we were able to go to the dry ski slopes at Hillend as an alternative. The children's progress in just 3 days was amazing! Well done everyone!
Here we are on Day 1
Here is a video of us on Day 3 - taking over the slopes!
Primary 6 enjoyed their bike skills session during Big Pedal week!
This term Primary 6 are taking part in a community creativity project. Here are some photos of our creativity sessions so far.
This term Primary 6 have been working towards achieving their John Muir Award entitled 'Discover'. So far we have learned about bats and owls, and we even got to see a real bat.
On the second week we walked to the Beatrix Potter Gardens where we completed a bug hunt, build bird boxes and made our own birds nests.
The third week we were learning about different animals that have lived in this area of Scotland past and present. We got to follow different animal tracks and found out more about each animal at the end of their track. We even got to see the skins and skulls of some of the animals we were learning about.
Hello and welcome back to a new term, I hope that everyone had a lovely October break.
